Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in Data Governance or related roles.
• Experience supporting governance in regulated environments (financial services).
• Experience working with business stakeholders to understand data needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of data management and governance initiatives across functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data landscapes, challenges, and needs.
• Translate stakeholder meetings into clear action plans and governance deliverables.
• Identify high-impact, low-complexity opportunities to deliver immediate value.
• Maintain and enrich the enterprise data catalog (definitions, ownership, metadata).
• Define, implement, and monitor data quality rules with DQ and Engineering teams.
• Support data lineage and metadata documentation.
• Coordinate governance activities across domains.
• Document governance processes and artifacts clearly.
• Participate in business-facing sessions bridging business and data teams.
• Support regulatory and audit data governance requirements through documentation.
