Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Senior Data Analyst- LFI Data Governance to drive data-driven decisions across the organization. You will design and maintain dashboards, perform deep data analyses, and ensure regulatory reporting data aligns with FR YY requirements.

You'll query large datasets using SQL, develop reporting solutions with Power BI or Tableau, and collaborate with IT to improve data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Intermediate - Advanced experience with data analysis tools and data visualization platforms.
• Experience with regulatory reporting or other areas at a bank is preferred.
• Reg YY and related regulatory reporting familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and maintenance of advanced dashboards and reporting tools.
• Analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Translate business questions into analytical tasks and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability with validation and quality checks.
• UAT testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
