The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data engineering/management, strong SQL, Python, and experience with data warehousing concepts. Travel to client locations within the U.S. may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or data management in fast-paced environments.
• Experience building reliable, scalable ETL on big data platforms and varied data infrastructure (SQL, MySQL).
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Perl).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead companywide initiatives to maintain data quality supporting business processes.
• Oversee analysis and reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
• Identify and remediate data quality issues and governance gaps.
• Evaluate data quality metrics and audits to benchmark state of data quality.
• Mentor junior staff and lead project teams across the organization.
• Collaborate with senior management on data and metadata quality assessments.
• Represent client in cross-functional groups to drive data governance strategy.
