Job summary

DYVICC Inc. in Hoffman Estates, IL seeks a Lead Data Management Analyst to drive data governance and data quality across marketing campaigns, analytics, and regulatory reporting.

Travel to client locations within the United States may be required. You will define data requirements with business partners, oversee data quality metrics and audits, mentor project teams, and align remediation with the company's governance standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, MIS, or related field.
• Experience with data governance, data architecture, and data quality.
• Experience with SQL and/or SAS required.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support key campaign data initiatives for Marketing Execution and Process Excellence.
• Conduct data research and analysis, define complex data requirements, and perform user acceptance testing.
• Organize and lead companywide initiatives to ensure data quality supports business processes.
• Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements.
• Identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues.
• Evaluate data quality metrics and audits to benchmark the data state.
• Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.
• Identify new data sources and assess quality.
• Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff.
• Serve as relationship manager for a line of business.
• Consult with senior management on assessments of data and metadata quality.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Support key campaign data initiatives for Marketing Execution and Process Excellence.

• Conduct data research and analysis, partner with various business partners to define and document complex data requirements, perform user acceptance testing.

• Organize and lead companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes.

• Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements.

• Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues.

• Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.

• Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.

• Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data.

• Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members.

• Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy.

• Serve as relationship manager for a line of business.

• Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility.

• Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies.

• Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution.

Experience & Knowledge

• Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of data research and analysis.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Experience with data query tools including SQL and/or SAS.

• Experience with data management best practices and disciplines including data governance, data architecture, data quality, analytics and business intelligence.

• Experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence, Jira and Jira Align.

Education

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems or related field

Work Location & Physical Requirements

• This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
