Job summary

Legend Biotech USA is seeking a Sr. Manager Data Governance to lead the enterprise data governance program. You will establish policies, standards, and processes to ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

You will partner with IT, compliance, and business units to embed governance into workflows, manage data catalogs, and drive privacy controls across Azure and AWS using Purview and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in data governance or data-centric roles, preferably in regulated industries.
• Experience with regulatory requirements in life sciences (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, SOX).
• Familiarity with data governance tools (OneTrust, Collibra) and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and refine governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Set metrics and controls for data quality, integrity, and security.
• Maintain data catalogs and dictionaries; ensure transparency and accessibility.
• Enforce privacy and security regulations via audits and controls.
• Collaborate with IT to apply access, encryption, and DLP policies across Azure/AWS.
• Promote governance adoption and leadership communication; drive data literacy initiatives.
• Oversee data demand intake and catalog maintenance; prioritize initiatives by risk.
