Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead enterprise data governance initiatives and mature CLA’s governance program. You will design and enforce policies, standards, and processes, driving data quality conformance and partnering with business and technical leaders to promote responsible, compliant use of data.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data governance, a degree in information management or computer science preferred, and strong knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK, privacy regulations,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
• Bachelor's degree; combination of experience and training may be accepted.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA) and DAMA-DMBOK principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Identify gaps in governance processes and drive improvements.
• Define governance requirements for metadata, business terms, data elements, and lineage.
• Lead intake and prioritization for governance initiatives; work with Data Governance Council.
• Facilitate cross‑functional decisions among data stewards, custodians, SMEs and IT.
• Own lifecycle of governance artifacts: drafting, review, publication, versioning, refreshes.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Security, Legal on governance, privacy and risk.
