Job summary

Syngenta is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst in the United States to drive adoption and implementation of data governance practices, ensuring data quality, integrity, availability, and readiness across the business. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to resolve data issues and advance governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates must reside in and be permanently authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree plus at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience identifying, investigating, and resolving complex data issues that impact business operations.
• Knowledge of Data Governance principles, frameworks, policies, standards, and stewardship practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance, master and reference data initiatives that improve data quality and operational effectiveness.
• Identify, assess, and resolve data-related issues and risks that could impact business operations.
• Partner with business and technology teams to ensure data changes are validated and operationally ready before deployment.
• Facilitate stakeholder understanding of data processes, calculations, standards, and governance practices.
• Develop and maintain mechanisms for tracking issues, risks, decisions, and improvement opportunities.
• Support business continuity through collaborative problem‑solving and delivery of practical data solutions.
• Influence organizational adoption of governance practices through communication, education, and relationship building.
