Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Data Governance Manager for Data Products to lead the governance of data assets, ensuring they are trusted, discoverable, and governed for mission use.

You will implement policies, manage the data catalog with metadata and lineage, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with data pipelines to bake governance in from the start. An Active TS or TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data governance, data management, or data quality.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise data catalogs (Collibra, Alation, Atlas, Purview).
• Deep understanding of data governance frameworks and metadata management.
• Strong SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience leading small teams or mentoring staff.
• US Citizenship (No Dual Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Drive governance and data management policies across all data products.
• Oversee enterprise data catalog with metadata and lineage.
• Define, implement, and monitor data quality rules and SLAs.
• Collaborate with data pipeline teams to bake governance in from the start.
• Mentor junior analysts on governance, data quality, and catalog management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data standards and processes.
• Act as a point of contact for data stewards and data consumers.
