Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced data governance/finance analytics professional for a 12-month contract in Illinois. You will develop tools for CDL-F data governance, manage data connections, and create KPI tracking to drive quality and efficiency.

Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization skills are essential. You will gather requirements, update project plans, and support data quality checks while collaborating across functions to deliver timely insights and reports.

Qualifications

• Requires 7-10 years progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Math/Physics.
• Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across multiple functions.
• Self-motivated and able to translate broad directions into high quality analytical output.
• Open to new ideas and value-added approach.
• Ability to manage multiple activities, due dates, and shifting priorities.
• Ability to solve business problems through data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Experience working independently and in team environments across functions/divisions.
• Adapt at analyzing and summarizing data from multiple sources.
• Project Management Experience.
• 2-3 years of forecasting or budgeting in a large company.
• Knowledge of Planning / Visualization tools / Data Queries: Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, Power Query, Anaplan / SAC / TM1 / BPC.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and capabilities to support Data Governance and Maintenance of CDL-F.
• Update and modify User Security and Access.
• Update and modify reference tables.
• Help implement data metrics to ensure quality of all source and output data.
• Gather Requirements and update project plans for CDL-F new deliverables and enhancements.
• Manage inbound and outbound data connections for CDLF, including requirements gathering, connection design and build, testing cycles, deployment, and hyper care support.
• Create and maintain KPI tracking tools to monitor continuous improvement efforts and measure progress.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting, as needed.
• Support data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency; document data structures, processes, and user guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve data flow, accessibility, and reporting efficiency.
• Update status reports on a weekly, monthly basis.
