Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Governance, Data Management, or related field.
• Strong SQL skills for profiling, validation, and analysis.
• Proficient Python programming and automation experience.
• Experience designing data quality controls and monitoring frameworks.
• Knowledge of metadata, lineage, and data stewardship principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data quality controls across critical Commercial Banking data assets.
• Use SQL and Python to perform data profiling, reconciliation, monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
• Build automated frameworks to identify, monitor, and remediate data quality issues.
• Apply AI to automate governance activities and improve efficiency.
• Partner with business, data, and technology teams to ensure data quality accountability.
• Develop and maintain metadata, definitions, lineage, and governance docs.
• Support identification and remediation of critical data issues.
• Build dashboards and metrics measuring governance effectiveness and data quality.
• Contribute to regulatory, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to modernize governance with emerging tech.
• Promote a culture of data as a strategic asset.
