Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior data architect to design enterprise data fabric solutions that give unified, automated access to distributed data across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments. You will shape reference architectures, data governance, and the connected data layer that enables analytics and AI.

You will lead data mesh and data product concepts, work with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse and BigQuery, and advise client architects on modernization initiatives and data delivery

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture or enterprise data engineering
• 6+ years architecting data fabric solutions (data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs)
• 5+ years with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery)
• 4+ years with data integration/ETL/ELT and metadata & lineage tooling
• 3+ years with API and streaming architectures
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (12 years work exp) or 6 years if Associate degree

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise data fabric delivering unified access to distributed data across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments
• Integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, cataloging and automated data integration into a connected data layer for analytics and AI
• Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and governance that scale enterprise‑wide
• Enable data products and self‑service with real‑time delivery through the fabric
• Apply data mesh and data product operating models and cloud data platforms to client problems
• Advise client architects and leaders as a trusted advisor and shape data modernization solutions
