Job summary

Accenture is seeking a data/senior data architect to design enterprise data fabric solutions that unify distributed data across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments. You will integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, catalogs, and automated data integration into a connected data layer powering analytics and AI.

You will define reference architectures, governance patterns, and enable real‑time data delivery and self‑service through the fabric, applying data mesh concepts

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture or enterprise data engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years architecting data fabric solutions (data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs).
• Minimum of 5 years with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
• Minimum of 4 years with data integration/ETL/ELT and metadata & lineage tooling.
• Minimum of 3 years with API and streaming architectures.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; if Associate’s Degree, 6 years’ work experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise data fabric delivering unified, automated access across on‑prem and multi‑cloud.
• Integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, catalogs, and automated data integration.
• Define reference architectures and scalable governance patterns.
• Enable self‑service, data products, and real‑time delivery via the fabric.
• Apply data mesh concepts and cloud data platforms to client problems.
• Advise client architects and shape data modernization solutions.
