Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Data Architect to design enterprise data fabric solutions that provide unified, intelligent access to distributed data across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments.

You will define reference architectures, enable data products and self‑service, and apply data mesh concepts and cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse and BigQuery to real client problems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture or enterprise data engineering.
• 6+ years architecting data fabric solutions (data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, automated integration).
• 5+ years with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
• 4+ years with data integration/ETL/ELT and metadata & lineage tooling.
• 3 years API and streaming architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, minimum 6-year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise data fabric delivering unified access across on-prem and multi-cloud environments.
• Integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, cataloging into a connected data layer for analytics and AI.
• Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and governance at scale across the enterprise.
• Enable self-service data, data products, and real-time data delivery through the fabric.
• Apply data mesh and data product operating models, cloud data platforms, and streaming architectures to client problems.
• Advise client architects and leaders as a trusted advisor and shape data modernization solutions.
