Job summary

Universal Music Group is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering Manager for Enterprise Data Products. You will lead teams delivering AI-ready data assets, semantic layers, and data marts that power enterprise insights and AI initiatives.

You will design scalable data pipelines, collaborate with Ecommerce, Product, Growth, Finance, and Data Science, and drive governance, data contracts, and platform reliability to enable ML and analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering experience with leadership in ecommerce/digital commerce data domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of data engineers delivering enterprise-grade data products and AI-ready data assets.
• Design scalable data pipelines and architectures to support commerce analytics, ML, and AI workloads.
• Partner with stakeholders to enable AI use cases, feature stores, and model-ready datasets.
• Champion data quality, lineage, governance, and semantic layer standardization.
