Job summary
Abbott Cancer Diagnostics in Madison, Wisconsin, seeks a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to lead the domain's data engineering organization, shaping strategy, roadmap, and governance. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Eight+ years of data engineering or related leadership experience.
- Five+ years of direct people leadership experience.
- Experience owning delivery and operating performance for a data domain or program.
- Experience with data architecture, integration patterns, and platform decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and retain a domain data engineering organization with clear goals and development plans.
- Own the domain data engineering strategy, roadmap, delivery commitments, and governance.
- Balance technical debt, priorities, and design standards across teams and domains.
- Ensure data products and integrations meet quality, security, and lifecycle requirements.
- Build relationships with senior leaders and represent the domain in governance decisions.
