Job summary

Huntington is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Leader to drive the design, development, and deployment of data pipelines and data-centric products. You will lead a team of data engineers, align data strategy with enterprise analytics goals, and partner with data science and business analytics teams to ensure governed, high-quality data across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, related field or relevant work experience.
10+ years of related experience in data management disciplines including data integration, modeling, optimization, and data quality, and/or other areas directly relevant to data engineering responsibilities and tasks.
10+ years of technical leadership and experience with data-centric products, experience with database programming languages, and with advanced analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Lead Data Engineers projects and efforts.
Help set the strategy and tone for data engineering strategy and vision for the future.
Lead the architecting, creating, and maintaining of data pipelines.
Collaborate with data science teams and business analysts on data requirements and consumption needs.
Participate in data governance and curate the data catalog for governed reuse.
Coach and mentor team members and develop the team across the organization.
Evaluate tools with stakeholders to prioritize analytics use cases and maintain the book of work.
Plan and ensure execution of work and achievement of team goals.
Drive change with a professional, inclusive leadership style.
