Job summary

Byline Bank in the Chicago area is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and implement analytics solutions. You will support data analytics assets and evaluate platforms for risk and improvement, with a hybrid schedule (office in Schaumburg part-time).

The role requires 4+ years in analytics, strong SQL, Power BI/Tableau experience, and data modeling skills. You will collaborate across teams, ensure data quality, and drive reporting, dashboards, and data integrations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing and implementing data analytics solutions.
• 3+ years with MS SQL Server, Oracle, or similar; Snowflake/Databricks a plus.
• 3+ years analytics using SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
• 2+ years data warehouse architecture, design principles, ETL processes; DBT a plus.
• Proven experience designing data models, including star schemas and data marts.
• Experience administering Power BI / Fabric platforms.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement data analytics standards and best practices.
• Profile data and ensure data quality, metadata, and security.
• Gather business requirements and perform data analysis.
• Design database models and data flows.
• Develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, data integrations, and visualizations.
• Prepare end-user documentation and training materials.
• Lead UAT and obtain sign-offs.
• Manage analytics projects and communicate progress.
