Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Engineering and Business Intelligence for Alexa Audio. You will lead a team of 6 Data Engineers and BIEs responsible for data infrastructure, pipelines, and reporting underpinning Alexa Audio's key metrics across content, endpoints, geos, and providers.

You will design scalable data ecosystems, implement real-time and batch ETL/ELT, translate business requirements into robust architectures, and elevate data confidence and reliability to empower

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering experience and a track record in building scalable data platforms.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python/Java/Scala/NodeJS and BI/analytics leadership.
• 5+ years managing a BI or analytics team with people development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver robust, scalable data solutions across Alexa Audio's data ecosystem.
• Enhance reporting and analytics capabilities for product and leadership teams.
• Lead data governance, quality standards, and SLA enforcement.
• Own development of ETL/big data pipelines, semantic layers, and dashboards.
• Drive WBR/MBR reporting, self-service analytics, and ad hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize work aligned with business goals.
• Establish best practices for data engineering, including reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor team members and drive career development.
