Merck & Co. in Rahway, NJ, is seeking a Senior Specialist for Data Engineering and Analytics to advance SM S&T data initiatives. You will deliver high-quality data solutions, build scalable pipelines, and support analytics across cross-functional teams in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Five years of required experience in data engineering, analytics, manufacturing data, or related technical roles.
• Experience with data preparation, transformation, pipelines, analytics tools, dashboards, or reporting solutions.
• Ability to work across a matrixed organization and manage multiple assignments with quality output.
• Experience in regulated/pharma or biotech environments is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Execute data engineering and analytics deliverables in support of SM S&T priorities.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, datasets, and analytical outputs.
• Support dashboards, reporting, and analytics tools to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Investigate data issues and partner with teams to improve data quality and usability.
• Clarify requirements with scientists, engineers, and digital teams to deliver solutions.
