Merck & Co., Rahway, NJ, is seeking a Director of Data Engineering and Analytics to lead a data-focused team across Small Molecule Science and Technology. You will translate data priorities into execution, drive adoption of analytics tools, and partner with IT, manufacturing, and R&D to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related technical field with 10+ years of experience (MS with 8).
• Demonstrated leadership in pharmaceutical manufacturing, technical operations, data engineering, or data science.
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, unit operations across drug substance, product, packaging, and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of data and analytics priorities across SM S&T with measurable business impact.
• Translate data strategy into practical plans, milestones, and value metrics.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to align priorities and remove barriers to execution.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality from source to analytics platforms.
