Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina’s MUSC Community Physicians seeks a Data Engineer III (Visualization & Applications) to lead frontend data storytelling and application development. You will design executive dashboards with Power BI, roll out Power Apps, and work with back-end teams to ensure data supports decision-making across the MCP network.

You will own the data lifecycle, craft scalable analytics, and partner with leadership to deliver actionable insights through advanced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 8–10 years in healthcare analytics or analytics in healthcare adjacent industry.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Experience with EHR-based reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain executive dashboards and Physician Score Cards utilizing advanced DAX and Power BI visualization best practices.
• Develop end-to-end data pipelines and data architecture for MCP network.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate raw data into meaningful insights.
• Educate and train end-users; drive scalable adoption of tools and workflows.
• Design, deploy, and manage custom Power Apps to automate operational workflows.
• Support enterprise QBRs with high-impact executive reporting.
• Collaborate with backend care team from request inception to rollout.
• Perform rapid, ad-hoc data analyses for operational leaders.
