Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is seeking a Data Engineer III (Visualization & Applications) to translate complex clinical and financial data into actionable insights. You will design executive dashboards, build Power Apps for workflow automation, and bridge backend data engineering with frontend BI.

This role emphasizes predictive analytics, scalability, and business impact across MCP’s rural health network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8–10 years of healthcare analytics experience preferred.
• Experience with EHR-based reporting; Epic preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain executive dashboards and Physician Score Cards using DAX and Power BI.
• Lead full-cycle data projects from backend data pipelines to frontend dashboards.
• Educate and enable end users; drive scalable adoption of Power Apps for workflows.
• Collaborate with backend data engineers to ensure data architecture supports frontend needs.
• Prepare and iterate on executive-level reports for QBRs and leadership.
• Provide rapid data deep-dives and analytical support across MUSC Health System.
