Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks a Healthcare Data Engineer III to serve as a technical architect and SME for data architecture and BI. You will bridge backend systems and actionable insights, moving beyond basic reporting toward predictive analytics and advanced modeling.

You’ll manage data pipelines from Microsoft Fabric to executive dashboards that drive enterprise decisions. Reporting to the Director of Operational Performance, you will partner with leadership to ensure data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8–10 years in healthcare analytics or related field.
• Proven mastery of SQL and DAX; Power BI visualization expertise.
• Experience with data architecture, data pipelines, and BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, maintenance and security of data estate including SQL databases.
• Go beyond reporting by designing predictive models and forecasts.
• Develop automated reports and dashboards using DAX and Power BI.
• Partner with finance and operations to validate data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate on growth opportunities and network expansion analytics.
• Identify and implement automated improvements in reporting infrastructure.
