Ambience Healthcare is hiring a Senior Data Engineer in San Francisco. You will own data pipelines, model clinical and operational data, and enable trusted analytics for cross‑functional teams. The role blends data engineering with governance and real‑time data delivery to support healthcare outcomes.

You will work hybrid, 3 days a week in the SF office, partnering with product, clinicians, and GTM to turn raw data into reliable metrics that power decisions and customer value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production Data Engineering with Snowflake experience.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; ETL/ELT pipelines experience.
• Knowledge of data validation, schema design, scalable architecture.
• Excellent communicator with stakeholders across teams.
• Startup mindset with ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own the Trust Layer: build pipelines to ingest, validate, and transform data at scale.
• Enable insights: design dashboards and analytics to guide decisions.
• Support scalable infrastructure: apply best practices for warehousing and RBAC.
• Automate ingestion workflows: develop plug‑and‑play data pipelines.
• Create validation and transformation pipelines using SQL/dbt.
• Deliver governed analytics with self‑service access.
