Auto Club Enterprises seeks a Senior Data Engineer to bridge our technology unit and business areas, solving data challenges with code. You will query and process large data sets, ideally in SQL, and leverage Python, Spark, and AWS cloud to design scalable solutions and drive business impact.

You will mentor other engineers, translate specifications into working code, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure delivery meets objectives within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in querying large data sets and data analysis.
• Strong SQL and programming language skills (Python, Spark).
• Experience with data integration into Big Data systems is preferred.
• Cloud technologies proficiency, preferably AWS.
• Experience in agile environments and collaborating with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data solutions across the business.
• Translate requirements into functional data pipelines and code.
• Mentor other data engineers and review solution quality.
• Collaborate with business owners and ensure solutions meet objectives.
• Participate in daily standups and sprint cycles.
