Job summary

Saigepartners is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead a Supply Chain Data Engineering team, building scalable pipelines and trusted data assets to support planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and logistics. You will modernize enterprise data platforms, implement governance, CI/CD, and partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with SQL and enterprise data platforms.
• 5+ years building data pipelines and integrations using Python and/or modern ETL/ELT tools.
• Strong experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, semantic models, and analytical data structures.
• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and managing cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes such as planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, transportation, or warehousing.
• Experience with data quality, monitoring, observability, and production support.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer and not require visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers.
• Design and deliver data pipelines, curated data assets, dimensional models, and semantic models.
• Build and support data solutions across cloud and legacy platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to turn requirements into scalable solutions.
• Establish best practices for data modeling, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational support.
• Improve data quality, governance, metadata, and observability.
• Drive data modernization initiatives and reduce technical debt.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
