Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a senior data engineer to partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Consumer teams to translate business requirements into scalable data architectures. You will drive data collection, modeling, and governance while enabling rapid access to insights across a global organization.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, executive storytelling, and the use of modern data tools to support strategic planning and decision-making in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with data analysis & data profiling in project, business requirements definition or data engineering in CPG or Manufacturing Industry.
• 6+ years’ work experience in Distribution Network Analysis, Manufacturing, Production Network Optimization, Transportation, Demand Planning, or other areas related to Supply Chain or other domains such as Financial, Consumer, Channel, Category etc.
• 4+ years of strong Data Profiling experience & ability to identify trends and anomalies in the data to inform data model build out.
• Experience with datasets from POS aggregators such as IRI, Nielsen, Kantar etc.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills for senior leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Discover, analyze, and scope data requirements; represent in data models.
• Develop supply chain models using data from forecasts, inventory, logistics, and production.
• Create high-level process models (data flow diagrams, swim lanes) to represent analyzed processes.
• Improve data quality and drive adoption of data and analytics across the business.
• Support senior leadership with strategic planning, cadence, and communications.
