Job summary

N-iX is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build and scale a global Media Data Foundation. You will implement data pipelines, model data in Snowflake, and move transformation logic to dbt while collaborating with architects, product owners, and market teams worldwide.

Ideal candidates have strong Python skills, extensive Snowflake experience, and a background in marketing data. The role supports flexible remote/office environments and involves cross‑functional collaboration across regions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and strong Python programming skills.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and data modeling expertise.
• Experience with marketing, media or advertising data and APIs.
• Security and governance in Snowflake (RBAC, secure views, masking, row access).
• Familiarity with multiple cloud platforms (Azure or GCP, Azure preferred).
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration tools (Adverity, Fivetran).
• SQL proficiency and data retrieval at scale.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI).
• Experience collaborating with global teams and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development of data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and delivery of media data (across ad platforms).
• Build scalable solutions for multiple data sources and high data volumes.
• Design and maintain harmonised data models for cross‑platform reporting in Snowflake.
• Lead migration of transformation logic to dbt, including orchestration and CI/CD.
