Job summary

N-iX is hiring a Middle Data Engineer to build and scale a global Media Data Foundation. You will turn raw media and marketing data into trusted data products, shaping architecture and delivering hands-on data pipelines across platforms.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure data readiness for dashboards and analytics. The role emphasizes hands-on execution, data modeling, and governance, with collaboration across architects, engineers and business stakeholders in a multinational

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills; dbt a plus.
• Snowflake proficiency and data modeling expertise required.
• Experience with marketing/media data and ad platform APIs.
• Solid understanding of Snowflake security and governance (RBAC, masking).
• Design and promote patterns for multi-source data platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure or GCP; Azure Data Factory preferred.
• ETL/ELT experience and data integration tooling.
• SQL mastery and data retrieval at scale.
• BI tooling experience (Power BI) and reporting support.
• Experience in global or virtual teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize data pipelines for media data ingestion and delivery.
• Scale solutions across multiple data sources with frequent schema changes.
• Design harmonised data models for cross-platform media reporting in Snowflake.
• Lead the migration of transformations to dbt with CI/CD and testing.
• Collaborate with solution architects to translate designs into plans.
• Coordinate with product owners and market teams to align data solutions with business needs.
• Enable data readiness for dashboards, marketing mix analytics and governance.
• Implement data quality, freshness, and monitoring with alerts.
• Ensure data security and privacy controls across pipelines.
