Flow Control Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for its Central Data Platform team, focusing on end-to-end ELT using Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran. You will drive data transformations, data modeling, and performance tuning to deliver reliable data for business stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in dbt/Snowflake environments, strong SQL/Python skills, and experience with data warehousing architectures. This is a on-site Houston-based position offering ownership-centric benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in dbt projects at scale.
• 5+ years with Snowflake.
• dbt transformations in large-scale analytics environments.
• Deep Snowflake knowledge: databases, security, AI capabilities.
• Experience with Fivetran for data integration.
• Security requirements design experience.
• Cross-functional collaboration across teams on projects.
• Experience supporting data engineering applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide dbt and Snowflake expertise across the team.
• Design, build, and manage data transformations in dbt.
• Analyze source data and map to data warehouse targets.
• Develop scalable, reliable data pipelines and Snowflake solutions.
• Monitor data quality and performance of ETL/ELT processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs.
• Ensure security standards are implemented in data platforms.
