The role emphasizes Python and PySpark development in a Databricks environment, leveraging Snowflake and Azure to meet regulatory requirements while mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Experience with Python and PySpark in Databricks.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Develop code and designs for new and existing technology systems.
• Produce technical documentation and participate in peer reviews.
• Build and maintain data solutions meeting regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor engineering staff; drive SDLC and security standards.
• Collaborate with architects and business partners on solutions.
