NAVA Software solutions is seeking a Data Engineer for a remote project. The role focuses on designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, managing ETL processes, and building BI dashboards using Power BI and Excel.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in a data warehouse environment, strong SQL skills, and hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks and Snowflake, plus knowledge of Python and web technologies. Excellent communication and presentation abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a data warehouse environment.
• Strong data warehousing experience with Azure, Databricks and Snowflake.
• Proficient in querying Snowflake and other DBs with T-SQL (SQL Server).
• Hands-on experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Snowflake.
• Power BI and Excel for data visualization.
• Experience with AWS development tools.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and web page deployment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to upper management.
• Understanding of basketball.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, design, coding, performance tuning, and implementation of new data warehousing solutions.
• Evaluation, maintenance, and enhancement of existing ETL processes.
• Creation of BI dashboards and workbooks using Power BI and Excel.
• Code data ingest solutions (Python, Databricks Notebooks, NodeJS) leveraging 3rd party APIs.
• Daily triage of bugs and tasks.
• Create documentation for applications and processes.
• Enforce best practices in all aspects of work and evaluate new data warehousing platforms and solutions.
