Job summary

Sammons Financial Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data and integration solutions. The role focuses on data analysis, Snowflake, SQL, and dbt to enable high-quality data flow across enterprise systems.

The candidate will build end-to-end pipelines, design APIs and event-based integrations, and drive modernization of data infrastructure in a cloud environment. Strong leadership and collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Design and implement scalable data and integration solutions.
• Strong skills in Snowflake, SQL and dbt for high quality data flow.
• Experience with end-to-end data pipelines and data modeling.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Implement end-to-end data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, ADLS, ADF and Kafka.
• Design APIs and event-based integrations for scalable architectures.
• Provision and manage cloud data infrastructure using IaC and automated deployment.
• Modernize legacy data flows into cloud-based architectures.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
