Job summary

Litera in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate a scalable analytics data platform, powering analytics across the organization. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least 3 days a week for collaboration with analytics, engineering, and business teams.

You will own data pipelines, a Snowflake data warehouse, and well-modeled datasets, working with dbt, SQL, Python, and Git.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, building, and operating production-grade data platforms.
• Experience with dbt to build scalable, well-tested data warehouse solutions.
• Strong SQL expertise for large analytical datasets and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines and ELT workflows at scale.
• Own a Snowflake-based data warehouse using dbt best practices.
• Translate requirements into well-modeled, reliable datasets with stakeholders.
• Write and optimize complex SQL for large datasets and performance.
• Apply software engineering practices to data work (version control, testing, CI/CD).
• Integrate data from third-party SaaS platforms (CRM, product analytics, finance).
• Produce technical documentation and data flow diagrams.
• Take end-to-end ownership of data solutions.
