Fractal Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate large‑scale data platforms powering analytics and data science across Retail Online. You will drive production‑grade pipelines, partner with Data Science and Analytics teams, and ensure observability, QA, and cost efficiency.

The role demands hands‑on leadership, cross‑functional delivery, and strong expertise in Python, data warehousing, and Tableau outputs. Hybrid Bay Area work‑model with 3 days onsite is offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development and data engineering experience.
• Solid knowledge of Hadoop, Python, Snowflake; data warehousing experience.
• Hands‑on Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Plan scope, timelines, and dependencies across teams.
• Lead governance and incident reviews to ensure reliability.
• Develop and validate production‑grade data assets and dashboards.
• Oversee QA gates for analytics accuracy and reproducibility.
• Coordinate with offshore teams for technical hand‑offs.
• Audit data transformations for domain metric integrity.
