JFC Staffing Companies is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines using SAP DataSphere and Databricks within an SAP S/4 environment. The role is largely remote with occasional onsite collaboration near Harrisburg, PA, about once per month.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in data engineering and a strong background in STAR schema, ETL design, and data migrations. If you enjoy cross-functional teamwork and scalable data ecosystems, this role fits well.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with SAP DataSphere or Databricks.
• Solid understanding of STAR schema and dimensional modeling.
• Experience building ETL and data integration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines using SAP DataSphere and Databricks.
• Design and implement data models, including STAR schema and dimensional design.
• Support data migration and modernization tied to enterprise systems.
• Partner with data, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to ensure data quality and reliable delivery.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and better data practices.
