Job summary

PHT Staffing LLC is assisting a client in finding an experienced Data Engineer (Databricks/Azure) for a contract/full-time role that is 100% remote in the United States. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure data services, PySpark, Spark, and SQL, and can design robust ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.

This role emphasizes Delta Lake architectures, data quality, and performance optimization, with familiarity in Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services.
• Strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Apache Spark, and SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).
• Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and data lake architecture.
• Experience developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with data modeling, data quality, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/Git and CI/CD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines across data platforms.
