Job summary

Cash App is seeking a senior Data Engineer to manage data architecture, modeling, and pipelines across compliance and risk domains. You will enable risk teams with reliable datasets spanning multiple products and build AI-driven solutions for data quality and automated resolution.

You will implement end-to-end data engineering, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and contribute to scalable, secure data platforms used by millions of users globally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years with a Master’s; or equivalent experience.
• High proficiency in SQL, Python, and Dbt.
• Experience designing medium-to-large data engineering solutions and full lifecycle delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and optimization of data models and datasets.
• Standardize metric definitions and develop data dictionaries.
• Build monitoring for data quality and lineage; develop AI agents for optimization.
• Participate in on-call rotation and ensure SLAs are met; automate where possible.
• Collaborate with non-technical partners to translate business needs into data requirements.
