Job summary

PENN Interactive is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Services team, building transformed data to meet stakeholder needs. You will work with data engineers to create data pipelines, develop dbt models, and ensure accurate data delivery for analytics and decision making.

You should have 4+ years in analytics/data engineering, strong SQL, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Python, and experience with Looker or Mode; interest in sports, betting and casino data is a plus.

Qualifications

University degree in CS/Statistics/Business or related field.
4+ years in analytics engineering/data engineering.
Strong SQL, data modeling and data transformation skills.
Experience with BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Python, and relational databases.
Experience with data exploration tools such as Looker or Mode.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven projects.
Build data pipelines and solve data issues with the team.
Develop dbt models using SQL expertise.
Manage Airflow tasks and scheduling for pipelines.
Provide data analysis, recommendations and maintain data quality.
