Job summary

Chip is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to co-own the data platform architecture and lead scalable, secure data pipelines. You will shape ingestion, modelling, and the semantic layer while mentoring the data engineering team.

You will apply Databricks best practices, govern data in Unity Catalog, and enable self-service patterns for downstream consumers, with a focus on robust engineering standards and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive data engineering experience in scaling data products.
• Strong knowledge of medallion architecture and data modelling concepts.
• Hands-on Databricks expertise across workspace, governance, orchestration, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run scalable data pipelines across sources.
• Co-own architecture decisions for ingestion, modelling, and presentation layers.
