Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the governed transformation layer end-to-end. You will design Snowflake transformations, migrate legacy views to versioned dbt models, and define conformed dimensions across multi-ERP environments. The role requires 7+ years in data engineering and strong SQL, Python, and dbt experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data or analytics engineering.
• 4+ years on a cloud data warehouse, preferably Snowflake.
• Production dbt experience with strong SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Snowflake transformation layer for governance.
• Migrate SQL views to versioned, tested dbt models with lineage.
• Define conformed dimensions and facts across multi-ERP environments.
• Set standards for modeling, testing, naming, and CI/CD.
• Partner with report owners to validate semantic equivalence.
• Define semantic layer across Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI.
• Implement data quality testing and observability with dbt tests.
• Design models for AI/ML and agent readiness.
• Collaborate on feature-table patterns for AI/ML workloads.
