Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, engineering, math, or related field.
• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Advanced SQL for data modeling and large-scale processing.
• Proficient in Python for data pipelines.
• Experience designing enterprise ETL/ELT solutions.
• Strong relational and dimensional modeling understanding.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes supporting enterprise data and analytics needs.
• Build and optimize data models, curated datasets, and data products for reporting, operational analytics, and advanced analytical use cases.
• Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish and promote best practices for data quality, testing, monitoring, documentation, lineage, and governance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues while ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability of data platforms.
• Contribute to data platform modernization initiatives, including cloud-based architectures and engineering automation.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning.
• Mentor and support other engineers while helping drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
