Job summary

Hive is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to evolve our data platform and ML infrastructure. Youll own the data pipeline stack, build model training and serving pipelines, and ensure data products meet business needs with reliable observability.

You will work across data engineering and ML domains, partnering with teams to deliver high-impact data solutions at scale in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering in production-scale systems.
• Strong ML foundations and model evaluation experience.
• Experience applying LLMs and agentic systems in production.
• Ability to translate technical decisions into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the end-to-end data and ML platforms in production.
• Design scalable data pipelines and model serving infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to align data products with goals.
• Implement and monitor MLOps, data quality, and observability practices.
