Job summary

Mindera is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and run data pipelines that move client data from source systems to the warehouse, with production-grade reliability. You will collaborate closely with leadership and clients, applying AI-assisted tooling while maintaining rigorous review standards.

You’ll contribute to ingestion pipelines, storage architectures, and data governance, while growing alongside a culture that values empathy, self-organization, and learning.

Qualifications

• Proven production experience building and running data pipelines in production environments.
• Ability to integrate AI tooling while maintaining strict validation before shipping.
• Fluent English communication with direct client interaction.
• Cost engineering mindset with ability to quantify cost savings in pipelines.
• Exposure to regulated environments, including GDPR, access control, and auditable lineage.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate robust ingestion pipelines (batch and streaming) from databases, event streams, and third-party APIs.
• Own storage architecture across lake, lakehouse, and warehouse; optimize partitioning, cost, and query speed.
• Keep pipelines observable and restartable with orchestration, automated testing, alerting, and clean recovery.
