Nex is seeking a Senior Business Data Engineer to join our Analytics team and modernize reporting, data backend, and automation as we scale. You’ll enjoy solving complex problems and delivering reliable data platforms used by multiple disciplines in a fast-growing gaming company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or 5+ years as a BI Engineer.
• Experience with the AWS stack for end-to-end data environments.
• Proven ability to work independently with limited guidance.
• Comfortable in ambiguous environments requiring iteration and investigation.
• Strong track record collaborating with cross-functional teams across departments.

Responsibilities

• Connect with cross-functional teams across Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain and Publishing to understand needs.
• Project management: track and prioritize short- and long-term projects.
• Build and support new and improved data access and viewing methods and ensure steady operation.
• Investigate and iterate to improve cost and reliability of the data pipeline.
