Job summary

Tech9 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead cloud migration and data warehousing initiatives in the US. You will design dimensional models, build ETL pipelines with DBT and Python, and enable analytics via PowerBI Fabric across the organization.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams in an Agile environment to deliver secure, scalable data solutions and CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating data from on-prem to cloud platforms (Azure).
• Strong background in data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency in Python for data extraction and automation.
• Advanced PowerBI skills and experience with PowerBI Fabric.
• Ability to design scalable ETL pipelines and semantic layers.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of data from legacy systems to Azure-based infrastructure.
• Design data warehouse solutions and dimensional models.
• Develop and maintain ETL workloads using DBT and Python.
• Support reporting with PowerBI, SQL endpoints, and lakehouse structures.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams in Agile sprints.
