Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Washington DC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for the Public Sector to build Scale's analytical and BI infrastructure. You will mine, aggregate, and expose data across the business unit to enable timely decision-making and data exploration, and implement the data warehouse and BI environments.

You'll collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams, develop core data models and pipelines, and drive data quality, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Ability to create extensible and scalable data schemas and pipelines.
• Mastery of SQL and relational databases; experience with Python or R.
• Experience building ETL layers and pipelines from ambiguous processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop pipelines that provide single-source-of-truth foundational accuracy.
• Improve ongoing data pipelines and self-service data support for stakeholders.
• Perform data quality tests and system audits for accurate reporting.
• Build repeatable, scalable analytical solutions and data models.
• Maintain information security and hold an active Secret clearance.
