Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Data Engineer for the Public Sector to design and build scalable analytics infrastructure, data warehouse, data marts, and BI reporting to support decision making across the unit.

You will collaborate with operations, finance, and engineering to develop data models and pipelines, perform data quality checks, and enable self‑service analytics while maintaining an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and analytics.
• Ability to design extensible scalable data schemas and pipelines.
• Mastery of SQL and relational databases; Python/R.
• Experience building a transformation layer with DBT.

Responsibilities

• Work with operations, finance, and engineering to drive pipelines for single-source-of-truth data.
• Improve ongoing data pipelines and enable self-service analytics for stakeholders.
• Perform system audits and create data quality tests for accurate reporting of data/metrics.
• Develop scalable analytical solutions and data models, pipelines, or tables.
• Maintain required security clearance for the role.
