Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Engineer for Product Analytics to design and own data architectures across large-scale projects. You will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to craft scalable data solutions for various Meta products and internal teams.

You will work on defining data requirements, building efficient ETL pipelines, and delivering insights through dashboards and models that impact growth and user experience for billions of users and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience working with data (data engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or similar).
• 7+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (Python/C++/C#/Scala).

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and own the data architecture for multiple large-scale projects.
• Create and contribute to data logging and data infrastructure frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs.
• Define and manage SLAs for data sets in ownership.
• Determine and implement privacy-aligned security models and governance.
