Job summary

Meta is seeking a senior Data Engineer for Product Analytics to design, build, and scale data solutions across our family of apps. You will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to extract insights that drive growth and enrich user experiences for billions of users.

You will own data architectures, optimize ETL pipelines, and mentor teammates while upholding responsible AI practices and governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with data-focused roles.
• 7+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling and at least one programming language (Python, C++, C#, Scala).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• Master's or Ph.D in a STEM field.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows.
• Experience with responsible AI practices (bias mitigation, quality checks).
• Ongoing AI skill development (prompt engineering, agent orchestration).

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and own data architecture for large projects.
• Design and optimize data pipelines and data models.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and PMs to meet data needs.
• Define and manage SLAs for data sets and governance.
• Ensure data security, quality, and privacy compliance.
• Build scalable data artifacts and visualizations for multiple use cases.
